This thing started out as a joke and a test of how dungeon synth might sound if it was made with different plugins than the ones usually used in this genre.

After one track was done, the joke evolved into an entire album, and the main idea became to force myself to get out of my comfort zone. To make some epic-beyond-any-reason high fantasy tracks that, in the end, wouldn't annoy me with their sound and composition.

This entire thing was made... fast. So when the joke turned from a single track to a whole album, it was suddenly easy to get it done quickly... Because, in the end, its purpose was to serve as a piece of acceptable background music for work (or, if someone needs that, maybe a soundtrack for sessions of dungeons and dragons, etc.).

After all, I'm pretty happy with the result — it serves its purpose, and unexpectedly, I've learned a ton while working on this CD.
