RELEASE NOTES, DECEMBER 2022:
Hello! It took a bit longer than I expected, but I'm finally ready to make "Structural Contradictions" public again — I've tweaked every single song on this record, and now I'm finally pretty happy with how they sound. I might tweak something here and there before I rerelease this on other streaming platforms, but y'all here at Bandcamp are always getting things first :)

So, the original mix of "Contradictions" was, at times, truly atrocious, so apologies for that... But it's no wonder it didn't sound as good as it could have sounded since it's a rather complicated record (due to my lack of knowledge — I wasn't exactly making things simple for myself), and I just didn't have the hardware, the software, and the knowledge required to pull it off.

But it sounds better now, I promise! :D

Of course, for those who are sentimental, the original mixes are still available — they're bonus tracks for those who decide to download this record :)

ORIGINAL RELEASE NOTES FROM NOVEMBER 2021:
Here are some rather unusual tracks — and I use the word "unusual" here because I can't quite pinpoint this album's genre or style with terms any less vague than "dark electronic music you might be able to dance to... but also not really because it works just as well as background noise!"

It's a pretty weird combination of inspirations — all, hopefully, unified by a certain... atmosphere I was trying to capture. However, the primary purpose of this album was learning: I needed to test out a lot of things in a "live environment."

For example, I've had no use for psytrance or slap house bass lines in drony ambient records, yet I wanted to learn how to get them to sound just right. Likewise, I had no reason to use as many samples as I've used here in my previous records, yet I wanted to learn how to work with them musically, not just to use them as effects and stuff. And so on, and so forth.

All in all, I really like this record even though it's probably the most "out there" thing I've made so far! And as always, huge thanks to Jenna and Anżej (anzej.bandcamp.com) for help with these songs. Thanks, folks, for your patience, feedback, and all the support.
